Tyumen Battery Plant (Tyumen) began its history in December 1941, when an evacuated plant from Podolsk arrived in the city. In February 1942, the first batch of batteries was assembled. At that time it was the only operating battery factory. From 1987 to 2001, the plant mastered and modernized 14 new types of batteries for cars, buses and tractors, 2 types of batteries for motorcycle equipment, 2 types of batteries for railway locomotives, 6 types of stationary batteries for power plants, communication nodes and gas pumping units, 3 types of batteries for electric outdoor transport.

Tyumenskii akkumulyatorny'i zavod produces automotive batteries, batteries for motor vehicles, traction batteries, diesel batteries, batteries for heavy tracked vehicles, stationary batteries, batteries for passenger cars with liquid and gel electrolyte, batteries for uninterruptible power supplies, separators, electrolyte, expanders, flux, lead and lead alloys, lead sheet, lead meerkat.
