NPP Metromed (Omsk) was founded on November 26, 1991 on the basis of the Republican Research Institute of Biomedical Technologies and Instrumentation of OmSTU. The main activities of NPP Metromed are the development, production and introduction into the healthcare of Russia of new medical technologies, as well as specialized equipment for their implementation related to the use of ultrasound energies, laser radiation, electric and magnetic fields, highly active chemical groups of substances (ozone, nitrogen oxide, etc.).

NPP Metromed produces ultrasound devices, gynecological devices, ozone therapy complexes, dental devices, gas ozone therapy devices.
