The plant of low–voltage equipment NVA Transformers and electrical engineering (Rasskazovo) was founded in 1974 and is the largest manufacturer of electrical equipment in the Central Chernozem region. Among the main activities of the plant is the manufacture of high-voltage and low-voltage transformers, thyristor exciters, rectifiers and other converter equipment.

NVA produces high-voltage and low-voltage transformers, thyristor exciters, rectifier units, special rectifiers, starting and charging devices, complete devices.
